This documentary short traces the life of Rico Welch, a native of Lincoln Park, San Diego, exploring his journey through the neighborhood's stormy highs and lows. From a young age, Rico was immersed in the challenges of street life of violence, addiction, and incarceration. Despite multiple federal cases and hardships, his story is one of resilience and transformation. Against all odds, Rico overcomes his past, choosing instead to embrace family and a future built on hope. An inspiring testament to redemption and the power of change within an environment often defined by its struggles.
